Job Description:	A leading independent trust and corporate service provider is looking to recruit a Direct Tax/Business Development Professional.. The role can be based either in the Isle of Man or London. This organisation is looking for a seasoned direct tax practitioner who as well as furnishing appropriate advice to their prestigious client base will support business development activities. Specifically you will:- Identify through competitive market analysis, a current appreciation of market trends applying in the core service area of trusts and offshore services and recommend adjustments to the company's marketing plans to optimise revenues, margins and market share. Deliver new business propositions and support senior staff "pitching" for new business. Add value by acting as Engagement Overseer with key client relationships working closely with the respective day to day relationship lead. Provide technical direct taxation support to the client services, business development and technical teams, including involvement in client meetings and potential client meetings where required Produce one topical tax development commentary per month that could be used by the business development and client relationship teams when meeting with clients/intermediaries to enhance the relationship Interested candidates should be qualified professionals (ICSA, STEP, CTA, ACA, ACCA) with strong technical skills and a proven record in dealing with a wide range of direct taxation matters. Depending on experience, a six figure package will accompany the position.
